湖南省林业局近日发布，我省实施禁伐减伐三年行动计划成效显著，2016年至2018年共减少林木采伐量1500万立方米，减伐幅度达44.7%。
About79.86millionmu(about5.3millionha)offorests,41%oftheprovincialtotal,arebannedloggingundertheframeworkofthethreeyearactionplan.ItincludesHunan’spublicbenefitforestsatnationalorprovinciallevel,andtheforestswithinthefirstridgelineonbothsidesofrailways,expressways,andnationalandprovincialhighways.Atotalof63cities(counties/districts),whichhavebeendesignatedaskeyecologicalfunctionzonesatthenational,provincialandministeriallevels,areaskedtoreducedeforestationby20%onayearlybasis.
根据行动计划，禁伐范围包括全省境内的国家级公益林、省级公益林以及铁路、高速公路、国道、省道两旁第一层山脊以内的森林，共涉及面积7986万亩，占全省林地总面积的41%。同时，对已经划定为国家、省部级重点生态功能区的63个县市区，实施森林减伐，每年在上年度采伐量的基础上减少林木采伐量20%。
Bytheendof2018,Hunan’sforestcoverageratewas59.82%.Theforestdensityhasimprovedsignificantly,with60.2m3/haforstandvolume.Thebiodiversityisincreasing,andtheforestecosystemfunctionisimproving.
至2018年底，全省森林覆盖率提升到59.82%;森林质量明显提高，林分蓄积每公顷达60.2立方米;生物多样性日趋丰富，森林生态系统功能进一步提升。
